Culture_Nature
The integration of multidisciplinary areas on the theme of the environment and
contemporary habitat determines the understanding of events brought together under
the title of Nature Culture. The exhibition will be held at the Spazio Thetis in Venice.

FORTUNATO D’AMICO
Le Creusot -F- 1959

He graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano. He collaborates with and writes for several Italian magazines, including OFArch. He has given papers at architecture, art and design conferences. He is a temporary lecturer at the Politecncio di Torino, where he teaches the Industrial Design course. He is one of the organizers of the International Dedalo Minosse Award for architecture clients. He has curated the last two editions of the Vergilius d’Oro award and exhibition in Mantua – an event devoted to multidisciplinarity in architecture. Over the last year he has been the curator of the following exhibitions: Urban Solutions in Milan (Electa), 2009; Arte in Luce in Turin, 2009; Laboratorio di Architettura in Milan (Made Expo), 2010; Nino Mustica’s Pittura solida at Pietrasanta (Skira), 2010; Think Green in Milan, 2010; and Chiara Dynys’s Labirinti di memoria, held in the Central Archives of the State in Rome (Skira), 2010.

ALESSANDRA COPPA
Monza, Milano, 1967

An architect and freelance journalist, she received a Ph.D. in History of Architecture
and Urbanism from the Politecnico di Torino and is now teaching History of
Contemporary Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. She writes for several
architecture magazines and for the websites www.archinfo.it and www.living24.it,
owned by the Sole 24 Ore group. As part of the Minimum series of books (Motta
Architettura, Il Sole 24 Ore), she has published the monographs Mario Botta and
Vittorio Gregotti. Recently she has also been the curator of the exhibition Zaha Hadid,
as well as the editor of its catalogue (Electa, Milan).
